Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) is playing an increasingly important role in today's neurosurgical practice. Neurophysiological methods are used during surgery to identify and protect neural structures in a targeted manner.
Learning neurophysiological methods requires a broad basic knowledge of various areas such as neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, as well as signal recording methods.
In our online course series "Introduction to IONM", you will get an insight into the diversity of IONM and learn the basics. The combination of four self-study courses and ten live trainings combines learning flexibility and interactive exchange.
At the end of the course, you will know the most important IONM basics and have an overview of the basic methods. You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge in the final exam. This course series is part of the ARKANA-Qualification Program, which offers comprehensive and structured training in intraoperative neurophysiology.
