FUNCTIONAL NEUROSURGERY

The FNCH course is aimed at neurosurgeons who want to build on their existing foundations and optimise and update their knowledge regarding the application of FNS in the area of stereotaxis or if they want to start practising functional neurosurgery.

As well as learning about the technical basics, you’ll also get an overview of the application of stereotactic methods. Futhermore you'll train the planning, from data import from CT/MR, through to the calculation of stereotactic coordinates and the performance of functional interventions. In hands-on workshops, you’ll have the opportunity to practise system adjustment and take part in simulations on dummies.
