We have completed two informative days of training: On June 25 and 26, 2026, the hybrid course “IONM in Spinal Surgery” took place in Heidelberg. ✨
The 25 participants gained a comprehensive insight into the fundamentals and clinical applications of intraoperative neuromonitoring in spinal surgery. The theoretical content was supplemented by hands-on workshops that provided an opportunity to directly apply and deepen the knowledge gained.
A particular highlight of the course was the hands-on demonstration of intraoperative neurophysiology (IONM) in spinal surgery. On-site participants were able to observe a spinal surgery procedure directly in the operating room as part of a clinical observation session, experiencing the application of neuromonitoring up close. Online participants gained fascinating insights into the entire procedure through a video demonstration of a clinical case.
