Sophisticated surgical techniques and modern implants enable us to provide surgical treatment for increasingly complex spinal disorders. During these procedures, injuries to the spinal cord and neural structures pose significant risks, potentially leading to serious consequences for the patient. As a result, surgical interventions on the spine are hardly conceivable today without the application of intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM). This course introduces you to the monitoring of motor and somatosensory pathways. Engage in collaborative group work with experts and colleagues to exchange ideas and clarify your questions. Experience IONM firsthand—either through observation in the operating theatre or via a live video demonstration—and learn about the practical applications of intraoperative neuromonitoring. The course is available in a hybrid format, allowing you to choose between attending in Heidelberg or participating online. Both options provide a comprehensive and optimal learning experience.
