  • This video training focuses on the EMG modality and its interpretation in IONM. After completing this video training you will be able to:
    • define muscles and electrodes for intraoperative EMG monitoring and justify the choice regarding anatomical, technical and safety aspects
    • recognize different spontaneous waveforms and associate them with possible nerve disturbances or damage
    • choose appropriate stimulation probes and stimulation parameters, analyse triggered EMG waveforms and describe possible sources for misinterpretation
