The personal data collected as part of the education registration will be processed for the purpose of conducting and organizing the education at Arkana Forum.
As part of the course, the organizer collaborates with sponsors who provide financial or material support. To promote sustainable networking and support by the sponsors, participants' personal data (name, affiliation email address) may be shared with the sponsors of Arkana Forum. When an educational material is sponsored, then the sponsor is highlighted in the educational material.
The sponsors may only use the shared data for the specified purpose and are required to comply with data protection regulations under the GDPR. Further use or disclosure of the data to third parties does not take place.
The processing and transfer of personal data are based on consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. The provision of data is voluntary; however, participation in certain course offerings may not be possible without consent.
Personal data will only be stored as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose unless statutory retention obligations apply. The data will be deleted no later than six months after the course has ended unless the participant has consented to further storage.
